Warm edge

Our warm edge is indispensable for contemporary windows. Swisspacer spacers have a low thermal conductivity and reduce heat losses from inside to outside in winter.

Sustainable comfort

Sustainability is a central element of our corporate philosophy. At the same time, our product solutions should contribute to more well-being within our own four walls. You can read about how Swisspacer products increase thermal comfort and thus well-being in a study performed with the Passive House Institute (PHI).

Environmentally declared products

Green building assessments need reliable data on all the installed products. We therefore supply environmental declarations for our spacer bars and Georgian bars.

Climate neutrality at a glance

We clearly see climate neutrality as a long-term goal. This goes hand-in-hand with the commitment of the Saint-Gobain Group to CO2 neutrality.

In our roadmap, we present our measures and objectives in detail.

Studies

Providing transparent and verified data on our products and their impact is very important to us. This is demonstrated not only by our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), but also published studies on the topics of energy saving and living comfort, which were carried out by the independent Passive House Institute (PHI) in Darmstadt.

8.6% less heating energy

Compared to aluminium spacer bars, high-efficiency plastic spacer bars deliver much lower energy consumption, CO2 emissions and heating costs.

Warm edge and thermal comfort

The PHI study “Living Comfort” investigated how comfort and hygiene criteria can be defined and adhered to for windows in different climate zones.
